DILI, August 17, 2021 (TATOLI)- The Government of Timor-Leste will involve 25,000 population in the program of basic basket, saying these 25,000 populations have not been receiving the basic basket food from the government.
The Program Coordinator for Basic Basket food, Fernando de Araújo said that the government will respond to the complaints from the 25,000.
The implementation of this program has covered all municipalities including RAEOA however the remain 25,000 people have not including in the lists of the beneficiaries, for the reason that their names were not registered in the lists of Government $200 backdated payments for the eligible families.
It is recalled that from the data collected around 1,454,246 people have received the Basic Staple Foods, and the remaining are 25,000 people.
Of the 25,000 around 13,000 are from Dili municipality while the rest 6,000 are from ermera and other municipalities.
