DILI, 23 august 2021 (TATOLI)-The Spokesperson of the President of the Republic, Francisco Maria Vasconsello said 39 staff members of the Presidential Republic were confirmed positive to Covid-19.
“The entire staffs were having the swab tests after four staffs were tested positive to COVID-19 when returned from the working visit to Manufahi Municipality and based on the results of the four staffs, 100 staffs from the office of President were also conducted the swab tests on the 18th of august, the results show 39 were positive to covid-19, “Vasconsello told reporters at the Presidential Palace Aitarak – Laran today.
He explained that the second phase of the test has been carried out today along with another 174 staff.
“Hopefully their results are negative since they have had the full vaccinated,” said Vasconcellos.
Meanwhile, the 39 people are under the treatment at the New Horizon Hotel Isolation Center.
