DILI, 20 september 2021 (TATOLI) – The Council of Ministers approved the draft of decree-law on the transportation subsidy program for public officials.
The draft of the decree-law on the Transportation Subsidy Program was approved during the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers, on monday.
Transportation Subsidy Program aims to reduce transportation logistic costs by US$ 700.000. It includes the cut on vehicle acquisition fees, as well as maintenance and fuel costs.
Transportation Subsidy Program would offer public officials a monthly transportation subsidy.
According to the press release of the Council of Ministers, through the Transportation Subsidy Program, regular public officials would receive a monthly transportation subsidy of US$ 25, while US$ 50 for Unit Chiefs, US$ 75 for Chief Departments, US$ 100 for Directors-National, and US$ 150 for Directors-General.
