DILI, september 29, 2021 (TATOLI) – The Government of Timor-Leste (TL) will sign two air services agreements with the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
According to the Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Fidélis Magalhães, who competes with the Minister of Transport and Communications, José Agustinho da Silva to sign the agreements.
Magalhães stressed that a cooperation agreement aims to stimulate connectivity between the country and the rest of the world.
“The agreements also allow for the creation of conditions for the operation of more regular flights in Timor-Leste, as well as the increase in the choice of flight destinations”, Magalhães inform the media, during the press conference at the Government Palace, in Dili.
It should be remembered that the Council of Ministers also granted full powers to Minister José Agustinho to sign the same type of agreement with Brunei Darussalam.
