DILI, 13 november 2021 (TATOLI) – Timor-Leste today remains without a new case of covid-19.
According to Rui Araújo, Coordinator of the Covid-19 Outbreak Prevention and Mitigation Task Force of the Integrated Crisis Management Center (CIGC), the country is currently reporting 12 active infections, 19,809 confirmed cases, 122 deaths, and 19,675 recoveries since the outbreak began.
The National Health Laboratory has conducted 88 tests – seven random screening and 81 in quarantine.
Health authorities also performed 22 tests in the municipality, in the Oé-Cusse Ambeno Special Administrative Region, and at the Nacional Guido Valadares Hospital (HNGV).
Two patients were isolated, both with mild symptoms.
Regarding the vaccination rate against the new coronavirus, as of November, the country recorded 12, 77.3% of the population was vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine while 51.9% had complete vaccinations.
