DILI, 6 december 2021 (TATOLI) – The 2022 General State Budget (GSB) for the Prime Minister (PM) and the Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) were approved in the specialty.
“The 2022 budget for PM was approved with 39 votes in favor, two against and 71 abstentions”, the President of the National Parliament, Aniceto Guterres announced during the plenary session at the National Parliament.
The Prime Minister has a budget of US$4.915.494 to finance two programs, five subprograms, and 21 activities. It also includes the allocation of budget for the Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Unit (UPMA) and the Integrated Center for Crisis Management (CICG).
The Prime Minister plans to allocate US$60.000 to the national security program and US$4.855.494 to good governance and institutional management.
In addition, the Parliament also approved the 2022 GSB of PCM, totaling US$ 4.717.347.
The PCM’s budget was approved with 41 votes in favor, four against, and 16 abstentions” he highlighted.
This budget intends to finance two programs, eight subprograms, and 32 activities.
PCM will allocate US$405.188 for State reforms and US$4.312.159 for good governance and institutional management.
