DILI, 24 january 2022 (TATOLI) – The Philippines Embassy in Timor-Leste will organize the Dili Fun Ride on january 30. Therefore, currently more than 70 riders have registered for the event.
“More than 70 riders consisting of Timorese people, Filipinos, as well as several international people from the American Embassy in Timor – Leste and the Malaysian Embassy will participate in the Fun Ride event which will take place on january 30, 2022,” The Council and Third Secretary of the Philippines Embassy in Timor – Leste, Laser Blitz Sumagaysay told Tatoli at the Philippine Embassy in Farol, Dili today.
Sumagaysay explained, this Fun Ride was organized by the Philippines Embassy in Timor – Leste at different kilometers distances between 10 Km, 25 Km and 50 Km.
The 10 Km rider category will start from the Philippines Embassy Farol Dili to Golgota, Rai Kotu and return to the Philippines Embassy Farol, Dili as the finish line, the 25 Km category will start from the Philippines Embassy, Farol Dili to Tibar and return to the Philippines Embassy as the finish line and the last category is 50 Km starting from the Philippines Embassy Farol, Dili to Aipelu Likisa and return to the Philippines Embassy as the finish line.
Sumagaysay added that there is no winner category for this Fun Ride but all the numbers of these riders will be randomized by the Dili Fun Ride 2022 steering committee and will receive an Air Timor voucher to go to Kuala Lumpur, bicycle helmet, waterproof wireless speaker, adidas bag, hat and another small gift.
The Dili Fun Ride was held because the Philippines Embassy was sponsored by Aqua Fresca, Centro Supermercado, Air Timor, Samsung and the Association of the Philippines in Timor – Leste (AFET).
The objective of the Dili Fun Ride 2022 is to promote Health, as one of the community solidarity and to entertain the people of Timor – Leste.
The Dili Fun Ride will be escorted by the National Police of Timor – Leste (PNTL) from 8:30 until finish.
