DILI, 23 february 2022 (TATOLI) – The United Nation Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) PARIS, facilitates the seminar of article training to the National University of Timor – Leste (UNTL) Faculty of Social and Political Science, department of Social Communication.
Executive Director of the National Commission of UNESCO, PARIS, Timor – Leste, Francisco Barreto, said that UNESCO, PARIS wishes to facilitate article writing training seminars in order that the students can write the articles well and correctly.
“UNESCO, PARIS in Timor – Leste provides the training seminars for UNTL students of the Social Communication department with the aim to write a good article scientifically,” UNESCO, PARIS Executive Director Francisco Barreto told Tatoli at the Cathedral Auditorium, Dili today.
UNESCO, PARIS appealed to the students of UNTL, of the Social Communication department to use this opportunity in order to write articles well in the future.
At the same place, the representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Culture (MoHEC) Valentim Ximenes, said during this time UNTL has been working together with UNESCO, PARIS in facilitating the training on how to write the article well to the students.
“This article writing training seminar was attended by the UNTL students, Faculty of Political Science, Department of Social Communications with the aim that they can write articles well because they are trained to become professional journalists in the society,” Valentim Ximenes said.
Social communication is one of the instruments in civic education, students of Social Communication are trained to become journalists, to disseminate the information, to help the State and Government to disseminate the proper information and reliable information to the public in order that the people of Timor Leste can adapt to the existing modernization. I Hope that the students of Social Communication in UNTL will take the opportunities to increase their knowledge and insight about how to write articles well and correctly.
This seminar writing article was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Science, all the lecturers from the Social Communication and also all students of the Social Communication Department in UNTL. This seminar writing article was facilitated by the UNESCO, PARIS of Timor – Leste.
