DILI, 09 june 2022 (TATOLI) – The 4th of the country’s most important international Energy and Mining Summit will be taking place in Dili on 14-16 june, 2022, in City-8 Hall, in Dili.
The event is fully endorsed by The National Petroleum and Minerals Authority (ANPM) and the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and organized together with the energy promotion and consulting firm IN-VR.
The summit will present a unique platform for networking that will bring together existing and future operators in the Energy & Gas Industries, Renewables, and Mining Companies in Timor Leste and the region.
New investors and service providers will meet with the government to find the best ways to take part in the country’s growing energy opportunities and make the most out of the upcoming energy projects and net-zero initiatives.
“International majors and local leaders are supporting and sponsoring the Summit, including Santos, TIMOR GAP E.P, Banco Nacional de Comércio de Timor-Leste (BNCTL), Caltech Group, Bolloré Logistics, Weststar-Gap Aviation, Vieira de Almeida, Woodside Energy, Sundagas, Beacon Minerals Limited, Schlumberger, BGP (a geophysical company of CNPC), Bluewater, Similie, ETO, the Chamber of Commerce of Timor-Leste, and TradeInvest Timor-Leste,” said in a statement released on wednesday.
The 3-day event will be spearheaded by Victor da Conceição Soares, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources; Florentino Soares Ferreira, President of ANPM; as well as an array of high-level speakers from sponsoring companies, the 4th official Timor-Leste Energy & Mining Summit will offer the latest and most promising opportunities in the country, focused on the participation of independent oil, gas and energy companies, midstream companies, mining companies, and service and technology providers.
The Statement said IN-VR’s co-CEOs Chryssa Tsouraki and Stelios Papagrigoriou have been working very closely with the ANPM since 2019 to promote and establish Timor-Leste among global energy producers and APAC’s most favorable sustainable investment hub.
IN-VR is also sponsoring the second day of the event, focusing on Local Content, and part of the event’s profit will be donated to “Orfanato do Lar de Santa Teresinha-Quelecay”.
