DILI, 22 august 2022 (TATOLI) –The President and Commissioners of Civil Service, Faustino Cardoso Gomes said that the Commission of civil service announced over 7,885 civil servants are eligible to take the promotion test in Timor – Leste.
“The Commission of public service realized that the fourth electronic promotion test for 7,885 is important to increase their level in 2022, therefore CPS provides the level promotion test for qualified civil servants to be able to take the test and increase their level at the same time to motivate them to do the work with the quality, efficient and professional manner,” President of the Public Servant, Faustino Cardozo told TATOLI at the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MoFAC) in Pantai Kelapa, Dili on Monday.
Cardozo said that this electronic test was based on a proposal from the Public Servant Commission which was approved by the Council of Ministers based on the Government‘s resolution No. 19/2022 to increase the level of Public Servants through the tests.
The President of Public Servants, Cardozo, on this occasion called on all public servants who attend the test to optimize this opportunity because the promotion level through the electronic test is very competitive.
“The participants are expected to be disciplined, and follow the instructions during the test to increase the level and further to serve the public and country in a professional manner,”
Based on the data, there are 12,258 permanent civil servants consisting of 30.91 women and 9,167 men, but the Public Servants who are eligible to take the electronic test are 7885 composed of 19.34 women and 5,951 men.
The electronic test is carried out through the TCEXAM System which will take place from 22 august to 15 September 2022.
The participants will be assisted by the observer from the Commission of public service, Non-Governmental Organization, Association of Disable of Timor-Leste, and Net Women, to ensure the transparency of the test.
