SoSVTE and Australian Horticulture Company offer physical and interviews test to the 63 Timorese candidates

DILI, 12 september 2022 (TATOLI)— Secretary of State for Training Vocational and Employment (SoSVTE) and Australian horticultural company ‘’Mossmont Nurseries’’ carried out physical and in-person interviews test for the 63 Timorese candidate workers.

The physical examination and interviews were conducted over three days from 06 to 08 September 2022 at the Tibar Training Center (TNC) of the municipality of Liquiça.

The Managing Coordinator, Cezarina Guterres, said that these 63 people whose names are in the Work Ready Pool System, and thus they have the opportunity to go there.

“Their names are already registered in the system, for that the company owners carry out direct recruitment,” said Guterres in a statement.

It was explained that SoSVTE only facilitated the test process, but the result of the physical and interview tests will be given by the company owners. Each candidate will directly get the result on their contact numbers.

He also appreciates the owner of the Mossmont Nurseries Company, Jonathan Moss for taking the time to come to Timor-Leste to conduct his recruitment of workers from TL.

The owner of the Mossmont Nurseries Company, Jonathan Moss also said that his company trusted the Timorese because they had experience working with 15 Timorese workers for the last six (6) years.

“These 15 Timorese had a good working performance, discipline, and respect. They have great achievements and contributions to the company’s economic sustainability,” he said.

This testing process, itself will select about 20 to 30 TL workers this year.
