DILI, 17 january 2023 (TATOLI) – The National Directorate of Meteorology and Geophysics (DNMG) of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MCT) has warned that there will be a possibility of heavy rain and high tide this week.
“The mountainous region will continue to experience rains with moderate intensities,” DNMG said in a statement, today.
DNMG warned that rains are likely to occur in the mountainous region across the country, particularly in the late afternoon and during the night.
Meanwhile, DNMG has also warned that there will be a possibility of high tide on the country’s southern and northern coasts, and RAEOA, rising between 0.9 and 1.3 meters on january 22, 2023.
DNMG urges the communities to stay away from dangerous sites and take precautions when heavy rain and high waves occur.
