DILI, 20 June 2023 (TATOLI)- Isaben Ferreira, wife of the Prime Minister, who died on 18 June 2022 in Dili Timor-Leste will lay to rest on Wednesday (21/06/2023) at the Public Cemetery, in Becusse Dili.
Following the schedule, the funeral mass will be held at 15.00 TLH at Imaculada da Conceição Church, Balide Parish, and the body will be transported to the Becusse public cemetery to complete the funeral rites.
The statement also wrote that the family of the late Isabel Ferreira will read a summary of her biography and the message she left behind, before completing the funeral.
Isabel Ruak died of terminal colon cancer and was declared dead by doctors from the Guido Valadares National Hospital at 20:48 TLH at her residence in Metiaut Dili.
She has worked as a lawyer, human rights activist, and politician in Timor Leste and is a female presidential candidate for the 2022 period.
