DILI, 23 august 2023 (TATOlI) – After 11 years of its presence in Timor-Leste, Vietnam Viettel Telemor is moving forward and remains committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to its customers.
CEO of Telemor, Tran Van Bang said that the world is turning digital, saying therefore, digital services presence is required in the modern world.
“We are trying to bring more and various digital solutions to Timor-Leste, with the hope to create a digital community in this lovely country, because we believe that, life will be easier and more convenient if we have digital services presence in this country,” Bang said in a statement, on the occasion of the celebration of the 11th anniversary of Telemor presence in Timor-Leste, on tuesday.
He said in order to provide good services to its customers, Telenor takes the lead in deploying new technology products such as 3G, 4G, and 4G+, as well as providing e-wallet services and becoming a Facebook, Google, and Tiktok partner in Timor-Leste.
“Telemor is also the first network operator to bring unprecedented digital experiences to users with products such as web-film-local movie store Cinema, Timor TV, mobile TV, MOSAN e-wallet and supper app Kakoak,” he said.
In 2017, Telemor was honored with the Medal of Honor for Telemor’s activities and positive contributions to the common development of the country, awarded by the Minister of Internal Affairs.
In 2019, with the Mosan e-wallet services, Telemor was recognized as the Best Financial Institution of the Year by the Central Bank of Timor-Leste.
Telemor has contributed to the international image of Timor-Leste in the field of technology because Telemor is the leading company in Timor to participate in and win the prestigious international awards – Four International Business Awards in 2014, 2015, 2020 and 2021, two World Communications Awards in 2025 and IT World Awards in June 2022 and so on.
Bang reiterated that Telemor will continue to invest in its people, processes, and technology to ensure that Telemor remains at the forefront of the industry.
