DILI, 15 december 2023 (TATOLI) – The General Director of the Minister of Social Solidarity and Inclusion (MSSI), Floréncio Pina Dias Gonzaga, said there are 10.293 applicants for subsidy of “Bolsa da mãe Jerasaun Foun” who did not register in the system and ineligible for subsidy in 2023.
“On the information system at National Assistance Technique on December 12, 2023, around 61,293 beneficiaries have been registered in the system, but only 50.663 have been approved in the system, and those who are eligible to benefit from subsidy and those who are not registered in the system will not receive subsidy,” Director General MSSI,” Florencio Pina Dias Gonzaga, told TATOLI Agency in his office, Caicoli, this friday.
Gonzaga said that the final requirement was december 12; however, the late applicant’s name will be delayed in the system, and they are ineligible for the subsidy.
“For december 2023’s subsidy worth 9.980.170, The payment process has been implemented and will be finalized on December 31, as the payment system will be closed. So, the total amount of payment from january to december 2023 was 10.321.565,” he concluded.
However, the agency will continue the payment process, which will be finalized on December 31, 2023. MSSI’s team will continue to provide payment for over 61.293 beneficiaries.
It is known that on December 6, the ninth government, through the council minister, revised the program “Bolsa Da Mãe Jerasaun Foun”. The revision of this program was based on Decree Law No. 18/2012, on april 4.
