DILI, 11 october 2024 (TATOLI) – The Government of Timor-Lest, through the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture (MoYSAC), in partnership with UNFPA Timor-Leste and funded by KOICA through “Together for Equality” project, conducted a five-day training on “Healthy Relationships” for 24 youth (8 males and 16 females) from Metinaro Administrative Post in Dili.
These sessions aim to empower youth by enhancing their understanding of health and well-being, helping them make informed decisions about marriage, family planning, and their rights while promoting a life free from violence in all areas.
UNFPA, along with MoYSAC and the youth center facilitators will continue disseminating information on “Healthy Relationships” to youth in communities through similar roll-out training sessions.
The training, held at the Metinaro Administrative Hall in Dili, was attended by the Representative of MoYSAC, João Lemos, the Administrator of the Metinaro Administrative Post, Domingos Soares, and the M&E Officer of UNFPA and Programme Manager of CCYC Comoro
