DILI, 13 november 2024 (TATOLI) – The National Institute of Workforce Development (INDMO) signed agreements with three foreign training centers, including Seikou Systec Sdn Bhd (SSSB) from Malaysia, and both LAMG – China Education Training Promotion Alliance (LCETPA) and Ocean Asia Industry Education (OAIE) from China.

The agreements were signed by the Director of INDMO, Isabel de Lima, the Director of SSSB, Siew Peng Wah, and the representatives of OAIE, Yang Qianyi, and LCETPA, Yang Donglun.

Director Lima said that the initiatives aim to support INDMO in the development of ecological and digital skills, the drafting of the curriculum, and the development of technical-vocational training, as well as to support the exchange of trainers.

“These partnerships are crucial to promoting quality and inclusive skills development in Timor-Leste, ensuring that young people are prepared to thrive in a sustainable and technology-driven world,” she said.

Meanwhile, SSSB Director Peng pointed out that his center has been supporting INDMO since 2022.
