DILI, 04 december 2024 (TATOLI) – In a diplomatic reception held at the New Tourism Hotel, President of the Republic, Jose Ramos Horta commemorated the anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great and Thailand’s national day, highlighting the strong bilateral relations between the two nations.
The event brought together diplomatic corps, government officials, and distinguished guests to pay tribute to the Thai monarch’s enduring legacy.
During his remarks, President Horta warmly congratulated His Majesty and expressed deep gratitude for Thailand’s unwavering support to Timor-Leste.
Horta specifically acknowledged Thailand’s crucial assistance in Timor-Leste’s ASEAN membership bid and the continuous efforts to strengthen people-to-people connections between the two countries.
