DILI, 11 december 2024 (TATOLI) – The Government of Timor-Leste, through the meeting of the Council of Ministers approved Noémio Mateus Soares Falcão as the new President of Timor-Leste News Agency, I.P (TATOLI, I.P).
Noémio Mateus Soares Falcão replaced Manuel Pinto, the former President of TATOLI, who resigned two months ago.
“The Council of Ministers met at the Government Palace in Dili and approved the draft Government Resolution, presented by the Secretary of State for Social Communication, Expedito Dias Ximenes, which exonerates, at his request, the current President of the Board of Directors of TATOLI – Agência Noticiosa de Timor-Leste I.P., and appoints Noémio Mateus Soares Falcão as the new President of the Board of Directors of TATOLI – Agência Noticiosa de Timor-Leste, I.P., for a period of four years, starting on 1 January 2025,” said in a statement.
TATOLI, I.P is a Timorese national news agency, established by the Government of Timor-Leste in july 2016.
