DILI, 03 february 2025 (TATOLI) – The luxury Paul Gauguin cruise ship, on monday, docked at Dili Cruise Port, bringing more than 300 international tourists to Timor-Leste’s capital, Dili.
The ship docked at the Dili cruise port, at around 9 a.m. from the PNG’s Samarai Island, and will leave at 6 a.m. for Komodo Island, in Indonesia.
Visitors toured the city and visited cultural and historical sites, including Maubara Fort in Liquica Municipality, Cristo Rei Statue, Centro Nacional Chega!, Santa Cruz Cemetery, and Tais Market in Dili.
Timor-Leste is a small island nation in South East Asia and tops the list as the least-visited country in the world.
With only tens of thousands of tourists visiting the country each year, Timor-Leste offers pristine beaches, crystal clear waters, and untouched coral reefs.
