DILI, 19 February 2025 (TATOLI) – Following the presentation of his letter of credence to the Head of State, the Russian Ambassador to Indonesia and Timor-Leste, Sergei Gennadievich Tolchenov, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Staff of the Timor-Leste Defense Force (F-FDTL), Domingos Raúl ‘Falur Rate Laek.’
The courtesy meeting took place at the F-FDTL’s Headquarters in Dili.
“During the meeting, they discussed and explored the potential areas for future cooperation,” said in a statement.
Ambassador Tolchenov was among the 12 new non-resident ambassadors who presented their credentials to President Horta in Dili today. During the credential ceremony, which was held at President Nicolau Lobato Palace, they affirmed their dedication to enhancing diplomatic ties with Timor-Leste.
