DILI, 20 February 2025 (TATOLI) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Bendito dos Santos Freitas, and the leaders on Wednesday participated in the 2025 Annual Diplomatic Reception activity offered by the President of the Republic to Resident and Non-Resident Ambassadors at the Presidential Palace.
This activity will be carried out for 3 (three days), from February 19 to 21, 2025, starting with the presentation of the Letters of Credentials of 12 Non-Resident diplomats from 12 countries to the President of the Republic, José Ramos-Horta at the Presidential Palace.
This activity is an annual activity that involves Resident and Non-Resident Ambassadors to bring them even closer together, reinforcing bilateral relations between Timor-Leste and representatives of these countries.
This activity was also attended by Members of the Government, Members of the National Parliament, civil and military authorities and other entities.
According to the agenda, on February 20th, the IX Constitutional Government will update to the diplomats on the Timor-Leste’s Development Plan in the Salão Nobre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at Rua Praia dos Coqueiros, Dili.
