A formal agreement between the government and the scholarship recipients was signed on Friday at the Delta Nova Hall in Comoro.

The scholarships will enable the recipients to undertake four-year degree programs in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and industrial engineering at ATMI.

Speaking at the signing event, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Culture, José Honório da Costa Pereira Jerónimo, urged the students to comply with all regulations at ATMI and to focus on their studies.

“I ask you all to respect the rules and dedicate yourselves fully to your studies so that you can return and contribute to our national development,” said Minister Jerónimo.

He also called on the students’ families to continue providing moral support, encouragement, and prayers throughout the students’ academic journey.

In his remarks, Minister of Planning and Strategic Investment, Gastão de Sousa, speaking on behalf of FDCH, congratulated the scholarship recipients and emphasized the importance of their future contributions.

“Congratulations to all of you on being granted this opportunity. Study hard so that you can return and contribute to your country, which needs your skills, knowledge, and dedication,” said Minister Sousa.
