DILI, 18 june 2024 (TATOLI) – The President of the Republic, José Ramos Horta, will meet with his Angolan and Mozambican counterparts next month to strengthen relations of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation.
To this end, the National Parliament (PN) approved the Head of State’s trip to those countries with 35 votes in favor, 10 against, and one abstention.
According to the presidential agenda, Ramos Horta will be absent from the country between july 4 and 10.
Florentino Sinarai from the Fretilin party said that the Head of State’s trips abroad “has not brought positive results for the country”.
He said: “It is essential that the Head of State pays attention to the work of the government and concentrates on solving the problems of education and health in the country.”
