DILI, 06 january 2026 (TATOLI) — INCANTO Group on monday held a farewell ceremony for two Timorese workers who will soon depart for Singapore to work in hospitality-related jobs.
The two workers, Kezia Fatima Fernandes and Rosandro Fernandes, are scheduled to depart for Singapore on thursday, January 8.
According to Incanto Group Manager Joanico Jerónimo, they are set to work for a period of up to three months.
He confirmed that all required documents, including work permits and travel papers, have been fully completed.
Jerónimo explained that four candidates were initially considered for the positions. However, only two were selected after meeting Singapore’s strict work permit requirements.
Jerónimo encouraged the departing workers to make good use of the opportunity.
He said the program is not only about earning income but also about gaining valuable skills in tourism and hospitality.
According to him, strong performance could lead to contract extensions and open doors for more Timorese workers to access overseas employment.
Jerónimo emphasized that the law allows licensed agencies, including INCANTO Group, to facilitate the recruitment of Timorese workers for jobs in Singapore and other countries.
Kezia Fatima Fernandes expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work abroad. She said she is determined to work hard and represent Timor-Leste positively.
“This is a rare and highly competitive opportunity, and I hope it will inspire other young Timorese who dream of working overseas,” she said.
Incanto Group is a recruitment and labor facilitation agency based in Timor-Leste. The company specializes in connecting Timorese workers with overseas job opportunities, including in Singapore, Dubai, and several European countries.
