DILI, 15 June 2026 (TATOLI) – Timor-Leste boxer Delio Mouzinho returned to winning ways on Sunday with a victory over Indonesia’s Burhanudin Aduraf at the One Two Fight international boxing event in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The bout, contested in the bantamweight division over four three-minute rounds, formed part of the event’s international fight card and served as an important tune-up contest for the Timorese boxer.
Mouzinho entered the ring looking to bounce back from a knockout defeat to Australian boxer Callum Peters in New South Wales in April.
Drawing on his greater experience, the Timorese fighter applied pressure from the opening bell, dictating the pace of the contest and displaying superior technical skills against Aduraf, who is still in the early stages of his professional boxing career.
For Mouzinho, the fight was about more than just winning. It also provided an opportunity to assess his fitness and performance as he enters a crucial stage of preparation for an upcoming title bout.
The victory strengthens Mouzinho’s reputation as one of Timor-Leste’s top professional boxers and marks an important step in his comeback after a knockout loss in Australia earlier this year.
Mouzinho’s return to the winner’s circle comes as he intensifies preparations for a bout for the OPBF Silver title, scheduled for July in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. He is set to face local boxer Saroha Lumbantobing in a fight regarded as a pivotal moment in his professional career.
The upcoming championship contest is expected to play a crucial role in determining Mouzinho’s future prospects and establishing his credentials within the increasingly competitive Asian professional boxing scene.
