DILI, 28 september 2020 (TATOLI)– After one week without COVID-19, Timor-Leste has just moved a new patient who suspected to have COVID-19, to the vera Cruz isolation centre.
The patient is an Indonesian Citizen that has been complying with the 14 days of mandatory quarantine at the Farol Hotel quarantine site.
“Today the Doctor and COVID-19 medical team have rapidly transferred the person to the Isolation Centre at Vera Cruz to do testing,” PNTL Commander Euclides Belo said today (28/09/020).
The police accompanied the movement of this patient, and the team from COVID-19 will conduct a test to announce the results to the public to continue to mitigate and prevent the disease.
According to mr Belo, the team will conduct a test to the Timorese who were living together with the patient at the Farol quarantine site.
Thus, he added, those who were entering illegally are now fulfilled the rule of 14 days mandatory quarantine at Colmera Hotel quarantine site, Farol and other places which are fully secure by the police.
