Government sets $117.4 million budget for October

DILI, 30 September 2020 (TATOLI) — Finance Vice-Minister, Sara Lobo Brites introduced a total of $117.1 million temporary budget for October 2020 during the Council Minister meeting.

The Council of Ministers has approved the fund which includes the repayments of the loans.

The amount of spending from January 1 to August 31 is $954,5 million, distributed across every ministry and autonomous institutions without proper revenue.

The Government has used $479.3 million from a total of $954,5 million, including the government spending on salaries which is $123.6, a $151.3 is investing in goods and services.

In comparison, the Minor Capital was allocated around $2.2 million and $70.5million for public transfers, another $120.8 million is for Development capital and $10.6 million is the allocated for the emergency reserve fund.

The temporary budget allocation for this month will obtain the domestic revenue of $117.4 million.
