AFC Cup 2021: Lalenok against Visakha  Playoff match in Singapore

DILI, 09 march 2021 (TATOLI) – The Play off match  for Asia Football confederation (AFC) will be held  between the team despite of covid-19, said the General Secretary of Timor-Leste Football Federation (FFTL), Frederico Martins.

“Lalenok United FC will represent Timor-Leste to compete with Cambodian players from Visakha FC in Singapore in the upcoming April 2021,” he said.

Martins clears up that the AFC Cup matches will be played at the National Stadium in Singapore.

“The Lalenok United will continue its play off in the AFC Cup since everything has been provided by the AFC including all the facilities are responsible by the AFC. Regarding the flight we will discuss between the clubs,” he said.

In the Journey of AFC, Lalenok United FC has the right to receive the financial aid with the amount of $40.000.00 from AFC for the entire facilities to join the match.

The teams that will join the match are six teams composing from Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei and Timor-Leste.

He said the criteria has been highlighted for every teams, the team must be the championship in their respective countries while other criteria are given from the AFC. Thus, Lalenok has the right to represent Timor-Leste in the AFC Cup.
