CIGC Authority discharges Five covid patients from Fatumea, Covalima

DILI, 18 march 2021 (TATOLI)-The Second Operational Commander of the COVID crisis team, Brigadier-General, João Miranda “Aluc Descartes”, said Five COVID patients are discharged by the COVID Crisis team after receiving the treatment at Vera Cruz, isolation center.  

“The discharged patients have returned to their families in Fatumea village, Covalima municipality,” Aluk Descartes told the journalists at the CCD Dili. Aluc said,

Despite they are being discharged, the CIGC Authority ask them to cooperate with the Health authority in Fatumean to assist them.

“For example, if they have symptoms associated with covid-19, they will have to contact health professionals from Fatumean to take them for treatment,” He said.

He added that two direct contacts were also made out of the five infected, and the patients testing negative twice After confinement.

The Head of the Partnership and Cooperation Unit of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Inclusion (MSSI), João Coimbra, said that the Government also helped, those discharged patients by providing them with essential needs such as rice and cooking oil to ensure the families for the first time, patients recovered from covid-19, providing them with essential goods, such as rice and oil.

“This purpose of the support is to ensure they have enough foods during covid restriction,” he said.
