Timor-Leste State reports 41 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases

DILI, 31 march 2021 (TATOLI)– Timor-Leste State on Thursday reported 41 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases with eight recovery bringing the total number of cases in the country to 415, the CICG Coordinator said.

“Between the infections, 24 are men and 17 are women. Of these, three show symptoms and the rest 38 are asymptomatic,” The Coordinator of the CIGC, Rui Araújo said.

Araújo said, currently the State register 46 outbreaks.

Timor-Leste has been enduring the COVID-19 outbreak since march 2020 while in march 7, 2021 the firs local transmission was begun, with at least 604 people infected and no death recorded so far.
