DlLI, april 13, 2021 (TATOLI) – Health authorities recorded 12 additional local cases of covid-19, seven of which in Dili, four in Liquiçá, and one in Aileu. Bring the country’s total cases to 556.
The Coordinator of the CIGC Rui de Araújo said a case was detected today at the Hospital Nacional Guido Valadares (HNGV), with moderate symptoms. And the patient is immediately transferred to the Currently, the patient is in the Vera Cruz isolation center.
“The patient is a pregnant woman whose baby hasn’t been moving for three days. The case was diagnosed as covid-19 and intrauterine fetal death”, said Rui de Araújo, in a statement.
The coordinator also said that of the infections reported today, four are men, and eight are women. All patients are asymptomatic.
Concerning the new active cases in Liquiçá and Aileu, the infected people traveled from Dili to the municipalities concerned.
Araújo also pointed out that, since yesterday, the National Laboratory has conducted 452 tests, 207 following requests for authorization to leave Dili Municipality, 85 from sentinel surveillance, two from contact screening, ten from random screening, and 148 for international travel.
“The total number of requests for authorization to leave Dili was 215 today. but ten did not meet the requirements underlined in the resolution,” he said.
Regarding the cases detected by the municipality, since the emergence of the new coronavirus, Díli recorded 844, Baucau 36, Ermera 34, Covalima 45, Viqueque 11, Liquiçá seven, Ainaro eight, three in Lautém – as well as in Bobonaro and Manatuto and one in Aileu – and the Special Administrative Region of Oé-Cusse and Ambeno (RAEOA) registers an infection.
