DILI, 15 april 2021 (TATOLI) – Chinese Enterprise Association in Timor-Leste (AEC-TL), offered $15.000 in emergency funding and 300 boxes of Fresca mineral water to the Secretary of State of Civil Protection (SEPS) to help victims of the floods in Timor-Leste.
The Representative of the China’s Embassy to Timor-Leste, Geng Xiewei accompanied by AEC-TL, Tracy Sun, handed over humanitarian support directly to Secretary State for Civil Protection, Joaquim Gusmão, at his office in Caicoli, Dili.
Joaquim Gusmão said, all humanitarian assistance offers to SEPS and organize by the Disaster Operational Management Center (DOMC) before distributing to all the victims.
“SEPS will distribute basic needs such as food and non-food items to the victims,” said Joaquim Gusmão
Mr Xiewei, said China government and the Chinese people in Timor-Leste willing to help Timor-Leste in any situation.
it is recalled that The Timorese Government through the Council of Minister has approved the international solidarity support to responding the impact of the flood devastating that occurred on 04, April.
