DILI, april 24, 2021 (TATOLI) – The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) continues to support the Government, through the Ministry of Health, by providing equipment to Timorese health professionals in preventing and combating the outbreak of covid-19 in the country.
JICA Timor-Leste delivered ICT equipment to the Vera Cruz Isolation Center, in Dili, to support the health team in carrying out its daily administrative functions related to the treatment of covid-19 cases.
JICA’s support reflects the agency’s commitment to assisting in combating the new coronavirus.
The support equipment was officially delivered by the Chief Representative of the JICA Office in Timor-Leste, Goto Ko, to Dr. Nilton do Carmo, Pillar 7 Coordinator of the Integrated Crisis Management Center (CIGC) of Covid-19.
The equipment includes computers, printers, communication radios, loudspeakers, among others.
