DILI, 25 june 2021 (TATOLI)- The 15th Former President of the Philippines Benigno S. Aquino III died on the 24th in the Philippines. Thus, the Philippine Embassy in Timor-Leste (TL) opens a condolence.
“In relation with the death of the 15th President of the Philippines Benigno S. Aquino III, the Embassy of the Philippines in Timor-Leste has written a verbal note to the government starting from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and cooperation as well as all officials of Timor-Leste and all embassies in Timor-Leste,” Vice Consul & Third Secretary of The Philippines Embassy Atty. Laser Blitz B. Sumagaysay to Journalist TATOLI News Agency at the Philippine Embassy, Farol on friday.
The open book condolence will only be open for three days starting from Monday – Wednesday to tribute and appreciation for his services.
Therefore, the Philippine flag will be flown at half-mast for ten days in the Philippines and all Philippine embassies around the world including the Philippine Embassy in Timor-Leste to respect his honor and service while he was President of the Philippines.
The 15th former President of the Philippines Benigno S. Aquino III previously served as the presidency chair in 2010-2016 for one term as the 15th President of the Philippines.
