DILI, 23 july 2021 (TATOLI)-Since april and june, Klibur Domin Clinic team registered 80 patients of Tuberkuloze diseases, due on the result of Tuberkulozu Management Team in four municipalities.
The Executive director of Klibur Domin Clinic, Joaquim Freitas Soares said that in april and june, Klibur domin clinic received 80 patients for the treatment from fours municipalities.
“Since April and June, Klibur Domin Clinic is conducted at tuberkuloze disease program in Baucau, Viqueque and Dili municipalities, included of Ataúro Island,” Freitas Soares told TATOLI Agency via phone in friday.
He added the 59 patients were detected from Baucau municipality and 21 patients from Ataúro islands. We are currently running the TB Active Case program and detect total of 80 patients. The processes of staffs are collecting sputum to take to laboratory to perform test with Geneexpert machines.
Thus, Klibur Domin team is working hard for this program, show positive results according to the orientation from Minister of Health, although the country is encounter pandemic situation.
The team is provided x-ray text then collected sample and sputum. The process is transport to the laboratory for more examination by Gene Expert test. It is realizing in coordinating with medical staff and nurses in health center and visit the community in their living area to perform text.
Mr. Freitas said that Klibur Domin Clinic is accommodating 21 patients for more medical treatment and other patients have stay at home but under control by Tb team for supply medicines.
He added the TB Management Team is composed of three staff and five in charged in Bacau and another five in Viqueque municipalities. It is included of one staff collected sputum in Atauru sub district.
The a tuberkuloze team composed of 17 staffs, three staff focus in working in Liquiça, five in Viqueque, five in Baucau, one staff Ataúro and for Klibur Domin Clinic in three staffs.
The pandemic situation challenge TB team to working close to the community for conduct consultation and perform text to the people in remote area to identify the TC case disease. People reject to receive the visit of TB staff due on COVID-19.
Since 2016 the Minister of Health has signed an agreement with Klibur Domin Tibar Clinic to provided assistance for medical treatment for tuberkuloze patients. The Global Fund is provided the financial support for these activities for three years.
