Timor-Leste Petroleum fund grows to $19.49 billion

DILI, 03 august 2021(TATOLI)– The Bank Central of Timor-Leste (BCTL) launched a trimester report for the 58th which covers the information from April 01 to June 31, 2021.

The report indicates the capital fund post slight rise to $19.49 billion compared to the previous trimester the fund was $18.98 billion.

“The capital inflows for the three months to June 31 totaled $73.74 million coming from taxpayers’ contributions $41.95 million and oil royalties which are $8.37million, with 0.92 million refers to the annual free pipeline” according to the document from the BCTL.

The report also shows The total investment revenue is $600.12 million, composed of $77.17 million of credit slips and fees.

The value of the exchange was $523.89 million and the change movement rate losses with a total of -$0.88 million for this trimester.

This is to show that the fund revenue for this trimester was 3,24 percent, slightly up the benchmark for this period (3.05 percent).

The document also underlines the government spending during this trimester fund was $4156.45 million, composed of $150 million transferred to the State General Budget and $6.45 million covers the management fees.

The portfolio revenue for this period was 3.24% compared to the income reference of 3.05%.
