DILI, august 4, 2021 (TATOLI) – The National Elections Commission (CNE) invited the President of the Republic, Francisco Guterres Lú Olo, to participate in the launching ceremony on the post-election survey results that will happen next week.
“The National Elections Commission asked President to release the result of the survey of the electoral code on August 12th”, The President of the CNE, Alcino Barris, informed the journalists after meeting with the President of Republic, Francisco Guterres Lu Olo at the Presidential palace, Dili.
Mr. Barris added that this ceremony will be attended by the leaders of political parties, members of sovereignty, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
“The leading ceremony is the reverend Dom Basílio do Nascimento and the former President of the Republic José Ramos Horta. The other speakers are Mari Alkatiri and Xanana Gusmão, ”, he said
Mr. Barris also stated President Lú Olo accepts CNE’s invitation to participate in the event.
