Today, MEJD and the Ministry of Health had decided to temporarily suspend the teaching and learning process of all schools in Dili.

Maia said regarding the Covid-19 protocols, all teachers and students comply with the Covid-19 guideline recommended by the Ministry of Health and the WHO, by wearing masks, keep social distancing, and washing regularly and thoroughly.
“We will see the situation in Capital Dili, If the situation is back to normal on 31 august then will resume the classes for students to sit for the exam. It depends on the decision and the permission of the Ministry of Health and the Integrated Crisis Management Center (SIJK),” said Maia.
He said to ensure students keep learning during this difficult time MEJD had ordered the principals of all schools in Dili to distribute online lessons and summaries for students to prepare themselves for the next exam.
