DILI, 28 october 2021 (TATOLI) – 16 Timorese researchers who collaborated with the National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT) last year presented the results of preliminary research through a 4-days seminar in the areas of Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Exact Sciences, Innovation Technology, and Research Ethics.
Vice President of INCT, Valentim Ximenes, said this activity was to assist the researchers’ presentations before continuing their research.
“We realized the scientific research to promote scientific knowledge and technology in Timor-Leste to provide opportunities for researchers who have not completed their research to finis their researcher,” the Vice President of INCT told TATOLI in the INFORDEPE meeting room, Balide on Wednesday.
The research areas that are mostly done by researchers are Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Technological Innovations.
The evaluation will be done after the researchers have completed the research study and the results will be presented over for a second time to obtain the appreciation from the INCT before the result is published.
When the results of the research have been published, they will be submitted to the relevant ministries based on the title of the research to improve public policy to develop a better Timor – Leste in the future.
Researchers are contracted by INCT, each research group will receive $5,000 in every activity.
