Crocodile National team U-23 handed 6-goal loss by SoKor

DILI, 28 8ctober 2021 (TATOLI) – Timor-Leste’s National team was beating from South Korea in their second game of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-23 Asian Cup 2022 qualifiers with a 6-0 loss to defending champion Korea, on thursday, october 29, at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore.

The defeat gave the crocodile’s U23 team, led by Fabio Joaquim da Silva,  no hope to play in the U-23 Asian Cup to be held in Uzbekistan in june 2022.

However, TL continue to have a chance to go through if the crocodile’s team will beat the Philippines in the last match of Group H, on sunday (31/10).

SoKor team dominated the whole game, making it hard for Timor-Leste to take control of the ball during the match.

In the first half of the match, SoKor scored three goals, which completely destroyed the confidence of the Crocodile’s players on the pitch.

During the match, SoKor players with good ball control dominated the ball both on the ground and out of the air with clean first touches to keep the ball under their control. It gaves Timor-Leste’s team lost their mood to play aggressively, but rather than just play defensively.

In the second half of the match, with the good football skills of SoKor, again leaving the crocodile’s team no chances to pose the ball for at least one minute. As a result, two more goals were scored by SoKor to end the game.

Timor-Leste is scheduled to face the Philippines team on sunday (31/10), in Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore at 6pm Timor-Leste’s local time.
