DILI, 29 october 2021 (TATOLI) – In the past 24 hours, Timor-Leste recorded two new COVID-19 cases, five recoveries, and the active cases were 47, said Rui Maria de Araujo Coordinator of the Integrated Crisis Management Center (SIJK).
According to today’s figure, one of the two cases was detected in Baucau, and another one was identified in Bobonaro.
These two cases are men between the ages of 12 and 59 and symptomatic.
There are three people with COVID-19 in hospital, two of those are in moderate condition and one in mild condition.
In the past 24 hours, the National Health Laboratory (LNS) has performed 35 PCR tests, including 31 tests via random screening, three for the international travel authorization, and one in quarantine.
The SIJK kept calling on communities to practice the health and safety guidelines recommended by the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the WHO to continue combating the spread of the virus.
Since Timor-Leste’s outbreak began in April 2020, the country has recorded 19.787 cases, 18.618 recoveries, 122 deaths.
In Timor-Leste, of the 754.864 eligible groups, 73.3 percent had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, of which 47.8 percent have been fully vaccinated.
