DILI, 4 november 2021 (TATOLI) – In the past 24 hours, Timor-Leste recorded four new COVID-19 cases, two recoveries, and the active cases were 16, said Rui Maria de Araujo Coordinator of the Integrated Crisis Management Center (SIJK).
According to today’s figure, all of the new cases were detected in Dili and were symptomatic.
There are three people with COVID-19 in hospital, one of those is in moderate condition and two are in mild condition.
In the past 24 hours, the National Health Laboratory (LNS) has performed 19 PCR tests, including 18 via random screening, and one for international travel authorization.
The SIJK kept calling on communities to practice the health and safety guidelines recommended by the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the WHO to continue combating the spread of the virus.
Since Timor-Leste’s outbreak began in April 2020, the country has recorded 19.794 cases, 19.656 recoveries, and 122 deaths.
In Timor-Leste, 74.4 percent of the eligible groups had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, of which 48.5 percent have been fully vaccinated.
