DILI, 07 november 2021 (TATOLI) – Timor-Leste recorded no new COVID-19 cases, no recoveries, and the active cases were five, said Rui Maria de Araujo, the Coordinator of the Integrated Crisis Management Center (SIJK).
There are four people with COVID-19 in hospital, three of those are in mild condition and one in moderate condition.
In the past 24 hours, the National Health Laboratory (LNS) has performed 37 PCR tests, including 15 via random screening, 18 for the international travel authorization, and four in quarantine.
The SIJK kept calling on communities to practice the health and safety guidelines recommended by the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the WHO to continue combating the spread of the virus.
Since Timor-Leste’s outbreak began in April 2020, the country has recorded 19.799 cases, 19.672 recoveries, and 122 deaths.
In Timor-Leste, of the 754.864 eligible groups, 75.3 percent had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, of which 49.5 percent have been fully vaccinated.
