DILI, 02 march 2022 (TATOLI) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste Adaljiza Magno, had a Bilateral Meeting with the Minister for International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, Naledi Pandor, in Palais des Nations, United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) on 01 of march.
In that meeting Minister Magno presented to Minister Naledi Pandor, Timor-Leste’s candidacy to the Human Rights Council for the period of 2024-2026.

Minister Naledi Pandor also expressed its commitment to strengthen and to extend bilateral and multilateral cooperation of both countries, as well as exchanged views on the ongoing situation in Ukraine.
That meeting was attended by The Permanent Representative of Timor-Leste to the United Nations Office and Other International Organizations in Geneva, Lurdes Bessa and Permanent Representative of Timor-Leste to the United Nations in New York, Karlito Nunes.
