DILI, 15 march, 2022 (TATOLI)- The National Authority of Petroleum and Mineral (ANPM) is acknowledged Global company is not the main import petroleum. However, global is a distribution company in Timor-Leste.

Downstream Directorate, Nelson de Jesus recognized Global company did not fulfill the criteria for providing Crude Oil Gallons. These are the main tanks to collect all imported oil before distributing.

Global Company as a main import petroleum supplier in the last six years. Thus, the company was eliminated based on the decisions of ANMP, the company utilized ISO tanks for collection fuels.

“ANPM identified that ISO tanks are not proper tanks to ensure a safe environment. It is required to provide the main oil station before distributing to the mini fuels station” Downstream Directorate, Nelson de Jesus told Tatoli at his office, this tuesday.

He added this decision was made due to the Global Company not providing the proper tanks. ANPM decided on attributing authorization for two main petroleum companies in Timor-Leste.

The main companies are Esperança Timor Oan (ETO) and PERTAMINA International. ANPM observed that both companies fulfill the criteria for providing main tanks on petroleum collection, before distribution for all fuel stations across the country.

Mr. de Jesus said Global Company is a legal company established in 2014 and has legally registered in SERVER.IP.

Global Company is a distributor that can purchase fuel from ETO and PERTAMINA International and distribute it to other fuel stations across the country, especially for seven fuel stations in Suai, Baucau municipalities, and Dili. Global has seven fuel stations, one in Suai, one in Laga, and five in DILI.
