DILI, 31 july 2022 (TATOLI) – Foreign Minister Adaljiza Magno will attend the 29th ASEAN Regional Forum (29th ARF) to be held in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, from 31 july to 06 august 2022 Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.
Minister Magno will also participate in the 55th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) in Phnom Penh.
The meeting aims to promote constructive dialogue among ASEAN member States to put all efforts together to strengthen peace and security for the common good of Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific.
On this occasion, Minister Magno will talk about the political and security situation in Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region.
She will also discuss Timor-Leste’s bilateral relations with a number of her ASEAN counterparts.
Minister Magno will be accompanied by the Director-General for ASEAN AffairsMilena Rangel, the Director for Political-Security Affairs, Elisa da Silva, and Director for the Economic Affairs, Aleixo Gusmão.
Magno and her team had departed for Combadia on friday (29/07) and were expected to attend the meeting today.
