SoSVTE opens new opportunities for Timorese to work in Australia

DILI, december 13, 2022 (TATOLI)- The State Secretariat for Vocational Employment Training (SoSVTE) through the National Directorate for Foreign Workers (DNEE) has opened the online registration process for The Pacific Australia Labor Mobility (PALM) scheme.

National Director of DNEE – SEFOPE, Filomeno Soares said the registration process for the PALM Scheme opens from 13 to 31 December 2022 to recruit more workers from Timor-Leste to work in Australia.

“We open opportunities for those who wish to work in Australia through PALM, the participants will fill out the form and after the submission, the selection will be conducted by the company,” said Soares in the Suai Room Timor Plaza, this tuesday.

He added that the recruiting offered a wide range of industries, such as Meat Manufacturing, Agriculture/Garden, Fishery, Production-Processing Line (general), Hospitality/Accommodation, Commerce, Specialized Cleaning Jobs, Electrical Engineers, Drivers, and Construction.

“This recruitment is open to all applicants from 13 Municipalities including RAEOA,” explained DNEE National Director

This registration will assist DNEE to select relevant candidates for semi-skilled opportunities under the PALM Scheme to complete the Work Ready Pool system in preparation for future recruitment.
