DILI, 31 january 2023 (TATOLI) – The National Parliament (NP) has returned to the Government the proposal to amend the laws on life pensions for a new review in order not to harm the rights of former holders, revealed the Chairman of Parliamentary the Committee A, Joaquim Freitas “Borululi”.
“The MPs asked the Government to reformulate the degree of quality between the holders of State Organs and public servants. The rights of the President of the Republic are not equal to those of the public servants,” said MP Borululi, at the National Parliament.
In addition, MPs from KHUNTO party, António Verdial de Sousa, said that the rights of holders of the State Organs are not the same as those of civil servants.
“Therefore, I ask the Government to dignify the former holders by distinguishing them from the civil servants,” he said.
The deputy also pointed out that the former holders have the right to access the legal regime of social security of the holders of State Organs.
