Dili, june 28, 2023 (Tatoli) —The State Secretariat of Vocational Professional Training and Employment (SoSVTE) today has appointed 12 Timorese to attend TIT (Technical Internal Trainer) in Japan this year.
“They are 12 people who were appointed to follow the TIT program in Japan. We also have guided Japanese culture, to be adapted by Timorese after arriving in Japan,” said the General Director of SoSVTE, Paulo Alves at Caicoli, on Wednesday
Timor-Leste’s SoSVTE has been officially registered and is part of the TIT organization to send young people who have the potential to become TIT candidates.
“In very soon, the ambassador of Japan Tetsuya Kimura will release the first delegation of Timorese participants for the TIT program in Japan,’’ he said
Paulo Alves informed the 12 candidates (6 women, 6 men) came from various municipalities such as Aileu (2), Ainaro (1), Baucau (3), Covalima (3), Dili (1), Ermera (1) Dam Lautem (1).
Timor-Leste labor coordinator for Japan, Gilberto Soares Pinto explained the preparation for the shipping program was initiated for the recruitment of 64 people, in four Japanese language training centers in Timor-Leste.
“Of the 64 candidates, Kochi Agrifarm representative Tetsuya Yamamoto chose 12 candidates who dissevered to join the TIT in Japan,” said Gilberto Pinto.
The 12 TIT candidates were selected from the training center such as Centro Mirai Sato Suai (2), Centro Quesadhip Ruak (6), Centro Santa Rafaela Bebonuk (3), and Young Men’s Christian Association (1).
Gilberto Pinto also said, of the 12 TIT candidates only eight people (5 women, 3 men) had completed documents and received contracts from five companies in collaboration with Kochi Agrifarm such as Matsuura Tsuyonari, Morisawa Hirofumi, Kusunose Shiki, Ikeichi Saikaen and Matsumura Kazutaka
“They have completed the documents, we are just waiting for the decisions of the companies in Japan and may leave this July, we do not know how much wages they get because this is very diverse,” he said
While four other TIT candidates will complete the documents in September according to the request from Kochi Agrifarm an institution that handles the TIT candidates in Japan.
